Fed: Farmers split between winners/losers from FTA

Australian farmers are split over a free trade deal with the United States, with some
standing to benefit and others losing out.

Sugar producers and the beef sector are accusing the HOWARD government of selling out
their interests for short term political gain.

But the seafood, dairy and horticulture industries say the deal will boost their sectors
