Rebuilder Medical Technologies Inc. (Pink Sheets: RBRM)

ReBuilder Medical Technologies, Inc. Taps Retired Executives for Quality Control Expertise

August 28, 2007 - ReBuilder Medical Technologies, Inc. announced today that it has recruited Earl J. Evans Jr., recently retired from AT&T. Mr. Evans has spent his entire career organizing and managing the quality control policies of the electronic assembly of PC boards and other electronic assemblies.

The ReBuilder(R) is an electronic device that restores nerve function, increases blood flow, cancels pain, and reduces numbness and tingling that sells for $399-$699 retail and is available on the Internet and through selective physician's offices.

"We are pleased to add Mr. Evans to our team," says Adeyemi Bandele, VP ReBuilder Medical, Inc. "We have recently ramped up our production by a factor of three and we have outgrown our manual, paper related based quality control procedures. Although we have classically had more than a 99% pass rate, at the levels of production we now have, and the growth we expect to achieve in the coming months as a result of our expanded marketing efforts, we needed a new, systematic, computerized system to ensure that we maintain our product quality as strong as ever." ReBuilder Medical Technologies, Inc. invented, developed, and holds the intellectual property rights to the ReBuilder System(R) for diabetic peripheral neuropathy and the technology to produce micronized amorphous silver ions for diabetic personal hygiene products. According to the American Diabetes Association, there are over 20 million people in the US suffering with diabetes and 30% of these patients will eventually develop the pain, numbness and loss of mobility that accompany diabetic peripheral neuropathy. The overall total economic cost of diabetes is over $132 billion. One of every 10 dollars spent on health costs in America is spent on diabetes. With the graying of the baby boomers, these numbers are expected to climb.

In the coming months ReBuilder Medical will be seeking additional staffing from the pool of retired execs in the community.

According to David Phillips, CEO of ReBuilder Medical Technologies, Inc., the target for the retired executives program is to have the retirees reduce customer queries concerning product quality by 50 percent. This reduction should reduce salaries spent on customer service inquiries as well.

"From a financial point of view," says Daena Carter, Director of Accounting for ReBuilder Medical Technologies, Inc., "recruiting retired executives from the community makes good sense. They come with an established work ethic, and appreciate the opportunity to still make a contribution. We appreciate them and can accommodate their needs for time off for personal issues relating to health and family." Twenty million, eight hundred thousand children and adults, or 7% of the U.S. population suffer from diabetes. Thirty percent of those diagnosed with diabetes will eventually suffer from peripheral neuropathy, pain and numbness in the feet and hands that can lead to complete loss of mobility, gangrene, and eventual amputations. $132 Billion per year is the current cost of treating diabetes, or 1 of every 10 health care dollars spent. Neuropathy sufferers constitute 33% of this market, or 43.56 billion dollars in potential market. ReBuilder Medical Technologies, Inc. is a company in its infancy that has targeted 1% of this market, or, $43.5 million dollars in its next two market years, and is on course to meet this goal. Its primary competition is from drug companies whose drug therapy has proven less successful and prone to negative side-effects and addiction.

About ReBuilder Medical Technologies, Inc.

ReBuilder Medical Technologies, Inc. is an emerging medical device manufacturer of innovative technologies founded by world renowned medical device inventor David B. Phillips, Ph.D. ReBuilder Medical's flagship product is its FDA registered ReBuilder System for treating peripheral neuropathy. Unlike current therapies for neuropathy (nerve disease) which focus on prescription drugs with powerful side effects, the ReBuilder System is a portable, battery powered medical product that provides a new non-surgical treatment which is non-invasive, has no side effects and can actually strengthen muscles while increasing blood flow.

ReBuilder Medical also manufactures the Phillips Molluscum Treatment system for treating the skin disease Molluscum Contagiosum which primarily affects children. This system uses micronized, amorphous silver ions to disable the molluscum virus without side effects. The company is currently performing research and development on a number of other products as well.

Dr. Phillips is CEO of ReBuilder Medical Technologies, Inc. located in Charles Town, WV. He is best known for inventing the very first infrared ear thermometer. Dr. Phillips also was responsible for the GST System for the early detection of breast cancer and the AcuPen which detects acupuncture points and then treats them.

Zap (OTCBB: ZAAP )

ZAP Electric Car Exceeds Range Expectations for Indiana Resident

August 28, 2007 - The owner of a stock XEBRA electric car from ZAP reported that he traveled 50.2 miles on a single charge with standard lead-acid batteries. This is the most of any range reported by a customer, according to ZAP.

"I went to the home of my uncle in a neighboring town that is 26.1 miles from home," said XEBRA owner Jon Faux of Elkhart, Indiana. "After arriving and seeing he was not home, I decided to attempt the impossible and return home without any additional charging. While I didn't make it, I did make it to the home of a friend after 50.2 miles per charge. The first thing I did was call my dealer and tell him the good news!" Several ZAP customers have reported ranges of over 40 miles per charge and officials say they are pleased with the feedback that the XEBRA has achieved and surpassed its projected performance. ZAP says that it has sold over 500 XEBRA electric sedans and trucks since its launch in June of 2006 and has seen an increase in sales as more vehicles were proven in the marketplace.

"Now that we have over 500 XEBRAs out in the field, it's nice to hear more positive feedback," said ZAP CEO Steve Schneider. Schneider noted that the batteries used in the XEBRA have a break-in period of six months to a year before they reach their optimal performance. Range will vary with use, but often the more the batteries are used, the better their performance.

The XEBRA was designed to be a 'city-car' for daily urban driving with speeds up to 40 MPH. There is also a XEBRA truck that can be upgraded with larger format batteries that deliver up to 40 percent more range. The XEBRA will normally get a full charge by plugging in overnight. If the car can plug in during stops around town, ZAP says the XEBRA can get a significant charge back in a short time. The batteries and on board charger used in the XEBRA can recharge faster when they are discharged versus when they are almost full, so less than an hour of charging really helps. If you can plug in for the time it takes to eat lunch, what ZAP calls an 'opportunity charge,' you can increase your daily driving range up to 30 percent. For corporate and fleet applications, ZAP also distributes a Rapid Charger that can charge up a vehicle in less than an hour.

As another way to improve range, ZAP recently announced that a XEBRA truck outfitted with lithium batteries traveled over 100 miles on a single charge. In the future ZAP plans to make this available as an optional upgrade.

Faux says he follows recommendations to help improve range, such as avoiding jack-rabbit starts, anticipating stops, and driving on smoother roads, while also taking every opportunity to drive his XEBRA. Faux, an engineer for Creation Windows in Elkhart, Indiana, says he usually drives the XEBRA to and from work, slightly over 7 miles. He has put over 3,500 miles on the red electric sedan since last October and uses it almost exclusively in place of his old gas car, a GEO Metro that he said got 52 MPG. He says one of the main reasons he selected the XEBRA was to save money on gasoline and estimates that it costs him about half a penny per mile for electricity. He says the XEBRA performs about as well as his old Metro, even in the snow, but loves the fact that he does not have to use gas.

"I actually did put gas in my XEBRA the other day when my son ran out of gas in a borrowed car," said Faux. "Some who have made fun of me and my XEBRA don't seem quite as cheerful at the gas pump. The research I've conducted on my electric rates reveals that I'm getting the cost equivalent of about 600 miles to the gallon. We have to do something to kick our addiction to oil and this seemed like a good way to do it. Gas in Indiana is about $2.89 as we approach Labor Day." Faux says he looked throughout the industry and researched the Internet thoroughly before he settled on the XEBRA, saying that it was the only affordable electric car on the market that made sense for his daily driving. The XEBRA sells for a little more than $10,000. Faux says he is always looking for an excuse to drive his XEBRA. "Just give me a reason to head out and enjoy gas-free, pollution-free driving that is almost free and I am gone!" So, what's next for his XEBRA? "I have conquered 50 miles and 60 miles is next!" About ZAP ZAP has been a leader in advanced transportation technologies since 1994, delivering over 100,000 vehicles to consumers in more than 75 countries. At the forefront of fuel-efficient transportation with new technologies including energy efficient gas systems, hydrogen, electric, fuel cell, ethanol, hybrid and other innovative power systems, ZAP is developing a high-performance crossover SUV electric car concept called ZAP-X engineered by Lotus Engineering. The Company recently launched a new portable energy technology that manages power for mobile electronics from cell phones to laptops. New York Bill Bans Call Records Sale.

In the latest wrinkle surrounding online brokers of user call data (TelecomWeb news break, Feb. 13), legislation to ban the access and sale of telephone customer calling records and also hold carriers accountable has been introduced into the New York State Assembly.

The proposed bill - introduced by Democratic Assemblyman Jeffrey Dinowitz and Republican state Senator Martin Golden who represent the party majorities in both houses - imposes civil penalties on persons convicted of stealing and selling phone records and allow those whose information was sold to sue for damages.

The measure reportedly already has more than 20 co-sponsors ad its passage is being given a good chance at the state capitol in Albany; there is also support for the measure from consumer and public interests groups as well as Verizon Wireless and T-Mobile.

Significantly, the measure would prohibit carriers from releasing personal telephone account records to anyone except account holders in order to prevent third parties from selling the records, with the exception of authorization by court order .The law would apply to mobile wireless cellular, land line, satellite and Internet Protocol telephony activities.

``The technology is moving far faster than the checks and balances across the nation, but this is one check we should have in place,'' said Golden, a former New York City police officer, concerning Web sites that sell the records.

Shock over the Internet call details business has prompted other state legislators to look into possible bills, state attorneys general and carriers to file suits, drafting of bills in the U.S. Senate and House of Representatives to make such transactions explicitly illegal and deepening investigations and/or regulatory proceedings by the Federal Communications Commission, the Federal Trade Commission and the Federal Bureau of Investigation.

Meanwhile, the House Committee on Energy and Commerce said federal investigators have identified individuals behind 22 Web pages that may offer criminals, stalkers and any other paying customer the detailed records of private telephone calls. Its

Oversight and Investigations Subcommittee is sending out additional letters to the individuals demanding that the companies provide information about business.

MATTYDALE MAN ACCUSED OF RAPE; HE MET A 14-YEAR-OLD GIRL ON THE INTERNET AND THEY HAD SEX, OFFICIALS SAY.(Local)

Byline: Pedro Ramirez III Staff writer

A 23-year-old Mattydale man was arrested last week after being accused of having sex with a 14-year-old girl he met on the Internet.

Brandon J. Brutcher, of 239 Richfield Blvd., faces felony charges of

second-degree rape and second-degree criminal sexual act, and misdemeanor charges of third-degree sexual abuse and endangering the welfare of a child, said Sgt. John D'Eredita, an Onondaga County sheriff's spokesman.

Brutcher was arraigned Friday in North Syracuse Village Court. He is in the Justice Center jail in lieu of $15,000 cash bail or $20,000 bond. Because the girl was living in Cayuga County when the relationship began, the Onondaga County agency has given information to the Cayuga County Sheriff's Office for its investigation, D'Eredita said.

The Onondaga County arrest came the same week that a 31-year-old Glens Falls man was accused of raping a 15-year-old Fulton girl he met online. In that case, state police charged Joel H. Steinhoff, 31, with third-degree rape and third-degree criminal sexual act (felonies), and endangering the welfare of a child (a misdemeanor).

It is not uncommon for sexual predators to target children using the Internet. Children have been approached in chat rooms, while instant messaging, on e-mail, in game rooms and on message boards, according to the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children. About 65 percent of incidents happen in chat rooms and 24 percent through instant messaging, the center said.

Brutcher and the 14-year-old girl first met online in August, D'Eredita said. The girl then gave Brutcher directions to her home in Cayuga County, where they met and engaged in sexual activity, he said.

Since then, the girl and her family have moved to Onondaga County. Brutcher and the girl continued their relationship until the girl's mother found out and called the Onondaga County Sheriff's Office, D'Eredita said.

To keep children safe

The Onondaga County Sheriff's Office advises parents to closely monitor Internet activity to help prevent predators from targeting their children. Tips include:

Place computer in an area where you can easily monitor activity.

Teach children not to give out personal information.

Supervise your child's chat-room activity and only allow them in monitored chat rooms.

Block instant/personal messages from strangers.

Monitor the time your child spends online.

Stay in the room to monitor the screen.

Don't let your child have an online profile. (Your child won't be listed in directories, which lessens the chance of being targeted.)

The National Center for Missing and Exploited Children, in partnership with the Ad Council, launched a campaign this year to raise awareness of online predators. Go to www.ncmec.org.

Web site matches seniors to drug assistance. (Free Service).

To help older patients find out if they are eligible for prescription drug assistance, consider referring them to www.benefitscheckuprx.com.

This free service, developed by the National Council on the Aging, allows seniors or caregivers to fill out a short questionnaire, then lists drug discount card programs and government plans for which they are eligible.

The program is also supported by the AARP, the Pharmaceutical Research and Manufacturers of America, America Online, and other organizations, and is endorsed by the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS).

The Web site prompts the patient or the caregiver to enter the following information:

* Date of birth for patient and spouse.

* State of residence and Zip code.

* Veteran status for patient and spouse.

* Names of prescription medications being taken.

* Current income and assets from all sources for patient, spouse, and others in the household.

Once that information has been entered, the program determines whether the patient is eligible for Medicaid or any of some 30 state-funded pharmacy programs or 116 company-sponsored patient assistance programs. It also tells patients how to apply for the programs for which they are eligible, although it does not allow them to apply directly through the site.

"BenefitsCheckUpRx is [a] great tool in helping seniors become more educated consumers," CMS administrator Tom Scully said in a statement.

Seniors without Internet access "should ask a trusted friend or relative to help or visit a local library or senior center, the National Council on the Aging suggests. The organization is currently working with more than 2,000 community organizations nationwide to find and help isolated seniors who may benefit from the site and its related Web site at www. benefitscheckup.org. That site tells users about other state and federal benefit programs for which they might be eligible, including health insurance programs, energy assistance subsidies, food stamps, and Social Security disability benefits.

DOTGO Launches Text Messaging Publishing Suite for All 100 Million Internet Domains.

CMRL-Based Suite Makes Person-to-Website Text Messaging Available to All

NEW YORK, April 8, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Text-messaging technology leader DOTGO today announced the launch of its much-anticipated web-based publishing suite, allowing all 100 million Internet domains to take advantage of text messaging, the world's most powerful and direct marketing medium.

The new web-based interface, called DOTGO Publisher, is built on top of DOTGO's mobile markup language CMRL, the Concise Message Routing Language. With its release of the new tool, DOTGO has leveled the playing field for those seeking to use text messaging to promote their brands-from individuals and small businesses to leading media companies.

Prior to DOTGO, running a text messaging service was very expensive, time consuming, and relied on software that was either technically complex or limiting. DOTGO eliminates these obstacles, bringing text messaging to all 100 million Internet domains, by introducing two unique ideas. First, DOTGO maps the first word of any text message sent to the phone number DOTCOM (368266) to the corresponding .com Internet domain name. For example, anyone with a cell phone can access a site like google.com by texting the word "google" to the phone number DOTCOM (368266). This means all 100 million Internet domain names now have a way for their users to text them. Users of .edu, .gov, .net, and .org domains can similarly use the phone numbers DOTEDU (368338), DOTGOV (368468), DOTNET (368638), and DOTORG (368674).

Second, DOTGO has developed the first and only markup language for text messaging, called CMRL, the Concise Message Routing Language. CMRL does for text messaging what HTML does for the web: it allows web developers to author the text messaging responses for their Internet domain names. The introduction of DOTGO Publisher brings the power of CMRL and DOTGO to all non-developers, and features a site builder for authoring CMRL, a message center for broadcasting messages, and analytics for showing detailed text messaging statistics for an Internet domain name.

For individuals and businesses seeking to participate in the ever-growing mobile space, a DOTGO text messaging site provides a powerful and cost-effective new way to reach mobile users, complementing other mobile initiatives like mobile web sites and smartphone apps. As DOTGO CEO Stefan Gromoll puts it, "Every website should be able to use text messaging, since it is by far the most widely used mobile medium with the highest market penetration. With over 70% of the US market still using feature phones, text messaging remains the most effective way to stay in touch with mobile users."
